You can now add a recovery email address in your edX Account Settings:
This provides an additional location to receive a password reset in case you lose access to the email address originally connected to your account
The recovery address can be any email that is not currently and has not in the past been connected to an edX account.
After entering an address you will see a confirmation pending message and should receive a confirmation email at the address listed. Click the link in the email to confirm.
If you do not receive the confirmation email:
- Check the spam folder at that email
- Make sure you have not previously used this email on edX.org
- Try adding no-reply@registration.edx.org to your contacts or your approved senders lists, go back to the Account Settings and add the address again to resend the confirmation
